Software Licenses and Downloads (SLD)
 

Situation

Depending on the product's licensing setup, different information is required for SLD to generate a license key. The system might ask for specific parameters during the license activation transaction.
 

Resolution

Locking IDs are technical information about the machine where the license is installed. Depending on the software product, it can be an IP address, MAC ID or Host ID. If you’re unsure of your product’s locking information, please refer to the product documentation. Not all products require locking information during license activation on the Software Licenses and Downloads Portal (SLD).
