When you buy GW, you get a SLES license with it, right? Do you get
unlimited installs of SLES? at least 2? Does this even still come
    packaged with GW?

If not, then I think it stinks (even though it really wouldn't affect
    me).

If the license for the OS is included, then I don't have any problem
with it; I'm used to somewhat tight restrictions with other software.
The DB restrictions are par for the course.

I'm due for a new phone in the fall, me thinks I will be dropping the
suckberry and going for a droid (or maybe an iPhail if they come to
    VZW) and trying this.

If you're MLA you have to pay extra for the SLES subscriptions, it's not included in your GW license.

If you run SLES in a VM then you don't have to pay the sub.

But 64-bit, yeah I can see that as an issue. If the software is so "piggy" as to require 64-bit (like Exchange is) then it really has no business being in a VM, IMO. And if it's not in a VM, then I have to pay for the extra license and with our discount, it's cheaper to use MS Windows than SLES subscription.
