(UCMDB) Support Tip: How to create a custom report

This article describes how to create a report based on a previously saved view or pattern.

  1. Prerequisite

    (Optional) Use the Modeling Studio to define a new view.

  2. Select a Report

    In the Reports module, select an existing Topology report which corresponds to a view of the same name. Double-click it or right-click it and select Open Report. The report opens in the right pane.

  3. Edit Template Parameters

    If you selected a report corresponding to a template, edit the template parameters and generate the report. Click Save As View to save it as a template-based view.
