So far, we have not such function to do that the only way is to query the ticket Ids from database directly.

Direct access to the database (other than PG views) is not officially supported. There is a note in the documentation stating that.

Thanks for the replies. So any suggestion what can be done to address this requirement of customer to search, within UI, records updated by user and when unless exploring the option of adding customisations to all the tables to store this info about last update time, last update user, created by etc using business rules, excluding where customisation is not even allowed like location table and leaving gaps for data that is already created.
It would be nice to bring history in the search as there are a lot of use cases to do exactly that and currently posing challenge since history is not even accessible via APIs so even external reporting tools can be used.
