Our OEM Patch Feed Vendor does not yet support RHEL9.  Last I saw, they were targeting Q1 2024...but that was maybe 3-4 months ago.  Once that is done, we should be able to add support on our side in short order.  I would suggest putting something on the Ideas Page as well to help ensure it is something they are thinking about.  

I will try and ask for updates to confirm "IF" and "WHEN" support should be added....But my guess is not too much longer....

Putting something on the Ideas page only speeds up the implementation of the support on the Opentext side, right?

Let's say we want to add Support for "Dave's Web Browser", we ask folks post there and then based on support we push the vendor to add it.  For RHEL I suspect everyone knows we want it.....but It will put it in front of the ZENworks Patch PM to make sure we have our bases covered for what we may need to do on our end.

Looks like ZENworks 24.4 at the soonest. 

Support has been delayed on the OEM Side. Once that is done, there is quite a bit of work on our side.

Seems there is quite a bit of Change in how RH9 does patching versus prior versions...

Oh... that's not particularly good news, but news, none the less. 

I'll post this on the ideas portal, so that it's more likely to stay on the upper side of the priority list.

ZENworks does have some native Linux Patching ability via Subscriptions...

The docs do not list RH9, but MAYBE it's possible.  I'm not sure how much work if any the ZENworks folks need to do to maintain.

I don't even have a single RH server for testing...Just SUSE Stuff.....

Perhaps work through the docs and see if you can setup a RH9 subscription, despite the docs.....

Maybe an SR to see what can be done if you cannot.
