Unable to create site certificate

Hi, I've been banging my head trying to figure this one out. I am using an older version of ZAV (8.04) which we are in the process of upgrading. Each time I attempt to create a site certificate for creating a streaming app it throws an error "An error occurred while requesting the certificate. Please contact Novell Support". I have attempted this on several different workstations and the IIS server with the same results. And it doesn't help that the documentation does not give any guidance with this. Any thoughts or solutions would be greatly appreciated on my part.

In retrospect, I may have been confusing terminology here. The site certificate creation should be fairly smooth, but if you already have one created (if this isn't your first streamed app, you do) you don't need to create it again. This might also be related to the license/version. I haven't used 8.0.4 in a little while myself, so will have to put together a machine to test with, but if anyone is currently successful in creating certificates in that version please update the thread.

The information you are putting in seems accurate enough to me. I usually like to put in short name, FQDN, and IP, just to be sure the streaming server can be contacted properly, even if DNS goes down.

Actually I just upgraded to the latest ZAV version and still I am having the same issue. Is IIS on Win 2008 supported or would this not come into play with the certificate creation?

This shouldn't really come into play when creating the certificate, since that can be done on any machine running ZAV. Can you verify there is no firewall running? Sometimes that can cause some bizarre issues like this.
