Browse Mailbox search not working correctly

Hi,

We have recently upgraded Retain to 4.9.0.1 and reindexed all messages (25 million).

After I login to the system and go to "Browse" ---> "Mailbox", I then select a Date Range of 60 days and all my mail for the last 60 days is displayed (so far so good). Now in the searchbox (just to the left of the date) I type in a subject/name and click the "Search" icon, the date range is then ignored and all mail relative to the search criteria is displayed going back to when the Retain system was implemented.

    From Microfocus ....With regards to Service Request # 101307961651 (Browse Mailbox search not working correctly): This issue seems to be a bug. I have created a bugreport for this ( RET-13985) and am waiting for engineering to fix this.

    My first bug report... do I win a prize or does it come with a cash payment

    Second best thing is that I have been added as a watcher on the bug and will keep my eyes on progress.

    I assume Microfocus will advise when the bug has been fixed and a patch released......

    Yes, once the defect is resolved, the assigned engineer and myself would get a notification.

    You will then be informed accordingly.
