All of us would like to manage driver store with FF or chrome or edge. IE seems to die...
  • I would like to vote for this idea as well.  IE is all but dead technology, and will soon be a thing of the past in the Windows OS environment.  I currently have the following issues that are directly related to iPrint's dependency on Internet Explorer.

    1. The Appliance no longer allows for administration without having to elevate privileges of IE.
    2. You now have to use the IP address name in order to perform any administration of printers, instead of DNS name.
    3. When working within the printer object and looking at the drivers, it no longer auto recognize the version of Windows your using.
    4. If I review a printer profile, the page will become completely frozen after the profile has been closed.  I may get through 2 drivers on a good day before this happens but it will freeze for anywhere between 5 – 10 minutes.  I usually end up having to switch to a different pc to continue.
  • I would like to expand on this idea and ask for an all-in-one utility for managing the drivers and PDPs across all versions of Windows (XP, Win7 Win8/10 32 and 64bit) that does not rely on IE or any browser and that can be run on a single PC without the need to have a PC (virtual or physical)for every version of Windows in the environment.
  • Seems a bit dumb to have to use IE to perform these task.
