Is TeamWorks still "alive"? What is the roadmap for TW?

I have a new GroupWise customer (Yeah, unbelievable) with Enterprise Messaging Entitlement, BUT TeamWorks isn't part of the Entitlement (anymore).

Even for my partner evaluation licenses TeamWorks isn't available - is it "dead"?

If you have Enterprise Messaging you should have TeamWorks whilst under maintenance.  This is because for several years now TW has been an entitlement of Filr Advanced which is one of the component parts of EM.  We do not sell TW, it is only available for Filr Advanced,

The EuLA states "Use of the TeamWorks Licensed Software is a benefit of Your maintenance or subscription coverage for Advanced Edition Filr License."

TeamWorks is not dead, and is now with the Filr Development team, on the roadmap we have Video conferencing.  hopefully you saw the demo of a PoC we gave on the product update webinar a while ago.

Is there an update here? A customer asks for TW.

That is a good question! There are many MF-Products that still "sleep" by OT, not only Teamworks, also Vibe and other.

And they promice all quartal a new version as 23.4, 24.1, 24.2, 24,3, 24.4 and for any products there is not new features or development.

What use are new version numbers to customers? Nothing

There are not new iso-files for products with erros by release date, it is incomprehensible!

OT loose there long customers and multiplicators, not good for all

Sorry for my bad experience since OT, buy and sales are not solution for the future, but
they should know what they are doing!

i forget! no working mac osx client since version 8.02, many others, also MICROSOFT had mac clients!!!

TeamWorks continues to be part of Filr Advanced and follows the same support lifecycle as Filr. We haven't got to update TeamWorks due to other priorities in Filr. We will notify through Webinars and community posts on any future changes in TW.
