Environment

Data Protector 10.60
Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8.3
 

Situation

The following error is reported when the Add clients is performed on the DP GUI. 

[Critical] <Client-hostname> Certificate copy failed:
cp: cannot create regular file '/etc//opt/omni/client/sscertificates/': Not a directory
[Critical] <Client-hostname> Update of client system Client-hostname failed!

 

Cause

There is no libnsl-2.28-18.el8.x86_64.rpm package installed on the client.
 

Resolution

libnsl-2.28-18.el8.x86_64.rpm package needs to be installed on the client.
