Problem:

Will Launching the Manual Testing Client consume a Manual Testing Client license?

Resolution:

Launching the MTC itself will not check out a license, this can be confirmed by doing the following:

  1. Open Manual Testing Client
  2. Open Policy Administrator
  3. Note that a license is NOT checked-out when you log in to the Manual Testing Client.


For each manual tester assigned a test that is currently pending execution a license WILL be checked out.
