The Dimensions CM client offer a vast and ever increasing array of canned and client definable reports. However there are times when a report requirement reaches a complexity level that the native database querying tool is required. User defined reports is a feature of Dimensions that has existed within the product a long time and offers a sometimes overlooked but powerful tool.

The benefits of this User Defined Reports:

  1. The client machine does not require a database client to be installed on it.

  2.  Advanced and complex reporting through querying directly against the Published Views

  3.  Results are delivered as a text file to the client machine
