Are you saying that if you have a bundle such as "FireFox" and if you click on the "FireFox" bundle in the ZAPP Window, it will take 10 minutes to start but if you launch "FIreFox" from a standard LNK file it launches almost immediatley.

In short, if "Show Progress" is enabled for the Bundle and "ZenNotifyIcon.exe" is NOT running, the bundle will take a long time to run as it waits for it so it can "Show Progress".

You can also try setting the following registry key to lower the TImeout in case ZenNotifyIcon.exe is not running.

ZenNotifyConnectionTimeOut=1  (Or any value you like...)

I will add this tidbit for the KB to handle cases where for some reason the ZenNotifyIcon.exe is not running.  Normally its just the first few minutes after logon it may not be running....but usually it's up by the time ZAPP is up.

If the above IS your issue....I'd be curious why the process is not running....unless we are talking about the first few minutes after the user logs in. The registry keys in the KB should have it start much quicker.

today the problem reappears and I saw, ZenNotifyIcon.exe is not running. After starting it all is working fine.

So I use the reg key as in your suggested answer.
