Because there were so many problem with OES23.4 ISO upgrade, I'm curious if anyone tried to upgrade production OES 2018 SP3 to OES 24.4.
Thanks

Has anyone performed and inplace upgrade on OES2018sp3 DHCP server? Did they make major changes with DHCP and DNS objects that we should be aware of before upgrading?
I did an in-place upgrade (boot off the ISO) from OES2018sp3 to 23.4 and then later did a zypper patch upgrade to 24.2. I haven't noticed any major changes so far. Currently planning an in-place upgrade (boot off the ISO) to 24.4.1. The one thing I did see is that OES 2023 and newer uses chronyd instead of ntpd for time sync.
