File sync never stops

I have moved the (NSS) Home-Dirs of the users to a new volume. The Home-Dir Attrib in eDir is changed. All access to the new Home-Dir volume via NCP and CIFS is fine.

FiLR created a new Netfolder-Server by its own. But I can not delete some of the old Home Netfolders because the syncing process is running there and can not stopped. Maybe this is because the old volume is not reachable anymore.

Any hint how to solve this?

I think opening a case is the best solution.

I assume that these records are still part of the filr database in the background. Therefore the services try to get and index this information which causes  i.e, high load and a high number of errors. So a clean-up of some database tables will be necessary by the help of support.

... This case is open since ~ two weeks .... nothing happens at OT.

I am not sure, but is OT on the way to hell? It looks that a lot (to much) of the 'old' products has a lot of problems and the paid(!) support does not answer ...

Maybe we should recommend products of the openSource community to our customers? The major parts of the needed functions is available there ...

Maybe they are struggling in the background to find a way to clean database tables - I see more than one customer fighting this issue ...

Unfortunately - I have to agree.

    Escalate?
