Data Protector version: 23.4
Operating System: SLES 15 SP6

Situation

Installation Data Protector 23.4 Cell Manager and Installation Server on SLES 15 SP6 operating system fails with the following error:

The required xinetd or inetd daemon is NOT installed/running on the client system
Going ahead with default systemd.
Installing OB2-CORE packet
Preparing...          ################################# [100%]
Updating / installing...
1:OB2-CORE-23.4-1     ################################# [100%]

Installing OB2-TS-CORE packet
[ERROR]: No xinetd/systemd/inetd configuration found!

And later:

NOTE:    No Data Protector 23.4 Internal Database found. Initializing...
         Configuring and starting up Internal Database...     Done!
         Configuring and starting up Internal Database Connection Pool... 
ERROR: Unable to Start IDB CP (Return code = 1)
