After having created my first Deduplication Store in Data Protector 24.4 I noticed that the GUI displays the device in "Device & Media" context "Devices by host" as being connected to "localhost".
And within "localhost" there is the actual host where the deduplication device (gateways plus store) is located.
Is this a bug? I fail to understand it.

I have checked this behavior in two different cells (Windows) and works fine.
Could be a DNS resolution issue? Have you checked if hostname is listed correctly using omnidownload command? Have you tried to use a different GUI console?
How do you see the same using web console?
