Allow users to be notified when a document is checked in.

Scenario: A user wants to edit a document checked out to someone else. It would be helpful if the system could alert them (email) as soon as the document is checked in. I realise there are alerts which could do this, but an alert is usually for a more ongoing need. This enhancement would be more for singular use cases. 

  • The onedrive integration allows for multi-user editing of a document in real-time, regardless of whether the document is checked out by a user. The user who wants to do the editing can simply ask the person who has checked out the record to share the link via onedrive to the record.

    Is there a reason that this feature cannot be used to allow for editing whilst the document is checked out? Please talk us through the use case some more.
