Multiple Assignees

Hi brainstrust

After many many years of using TRIM/CM I'm stumped trying to solve a business issue.

Can anybody come up with any way of having a record assigned to multiple people at once, so it will show in their 'In Tray'.

Not through the use of positions - the staff in question work in very different positions and different business units.

We currently make use of the Current Location/Assignee field to move records around to action officers. The Due Date field is used to keep track of timeframes, the Notes field is used extensively and we have set up a Priority field. so 4 standard record fields that help with searching, sorting and undertaking work.

Note: we don't want to use Action Tracking or Workflow ... 

Hoping someone out there has some magic thoughts or knows something I don't.
