CM 23.4.1 Hotfix 3 - Error with old CM 9.4.4. registration form popping when registering document

Hi all, well, we recently had an upgrade from CM 9.4.4 to CM 23.4.1 Hotfix 3 . All went well except some users KW type are having "old" CM 9.4.4." document registration form instead of CM registration form. What could be causing this? They tried reinstalling CM, giving user Admin rights etc, nothing worked

 Also some error pops up : "Root Element is missing Error"

Incorrect Registration Box and Root Element is missing Error

Anyone had similar issue and how it was resolved if yes? Thanks

    this is what we've received from OT:

    In regard to the different registration form, it seems to be that the user is using the WPF UI for the Outlook Content Manager Integration, and not the native UI, from the screenshot, it seems that it is set to the native UI in the client option, but it seems like this isn't translated to the UI, to set the native UI, please follow the below KM to set the native UI in the registry for the user:

    Content Manager: PowerShell script to add the UseNativeUI registry key

    Or you could do this manually/using a GPO in the same registry nest and value as in the KM.

    This should force the Integration to use the NativeUI, rather than the WPF UI.
