Setting 2 actions simultaneously

Question

We have the need to notify two people simultaneously about a document. We currently allocate an action to an individual (i.e. for them to respond etc) and manually send an email to the second person for their information. 
 Is there a way to easily complete this in CM?

Hey Nicholas Action tracking is a 'linear' process which doesn't allow parallel tasks/actions to take place a the same time. You could look into building a Workflow that allows you to have parallel activities going at once. It might be a little clunky but it could give you what you're looking for. As example, this is a Workflow template I created: You have your first activity which is the creation of the document, once that is completed, it is pushed to both "Response" and "FYI". Each assigned user will get notifications at these second steps. You can build this out to be a fully functional Workflow (with an actual end) or you can leave it with a dummy endpoint like I have (otherwise CM yells at you when you try to save it).
