Unable to Download Specific ITem

I am trying to download "UFT Mobile Add-in for local device" from the marketplace and each time it stops at about 1GB with a message "Network Issue".

I have tried from 3 different computers, with different browsers and each download fails in the same way.

Can this be checked to ensure this file is available on the marketplace (I am trying for version 2021 dated Aug 3, 2021)

    Hi Mark,

I am able to get "Network Error" issue at the very first time in all the browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Edge) when we try to download the release file mentioned.

But when we get "Network Error" issue, then we will get an option called "Resume Now" in Chrome (or) "Retry Download" in Firefox and Edge. When we choose those options, File resumes downloading from where it left and it downloads without any issues after that.

If we try to download the same files again in Chrome and Firefox, then there is no "Network Error" issue when we cross 1.0 GB.

Please let us know if the work around works for you for now while we investigate how to remove the "Network Error" issue completely.  Chris

    Hi Chris,

I tried this, but when I click on "Resume" I get a different error, simply saying "forbidden".
I made sure I still had an active session on the Marketplace, but still not working for me.

    regards,

    Mark.

Thx, we are reviewing.  We will try to include a fix in our next release.

Hi Chris, do you have an update on this issue? We would really like to get access to this file.
Is there any other method we can use to get this file, such as your FTP site?

Hi Mark, Changing the default downloads location solved the issue for us. File downloaded without any issues and not even shown "Network Error" after 1GB.

Please follow the below to change the default downloads location in chrome:

    1. Open the Google Chrome browser and click on the three horizontal dots at the top right part of the browser. It says “Customize and control Google Chrome” when you hover above it. This will open the dropdown menu.
    2. Click on the Settings option near the bottom of the dropdown menu.
    Google Chrome Settings
    3. Scroll down to the bottom of this page and click the Advanced button. Scroll down until you see the Downloads section. Click the Change button under the Location option and choose a different folder for Chrome downloads. Confirm the changes, restart your browser, and check to see if the error still appears.

Now open our app detail page and download the file. Hope it will work without any issues.

This did not work for me, it still failed at 1GB even with changes as described above. Is it possible to load this onto your FTP site instead?

    Hi

Unfortunately to stay compliant we need to use Marketplace for all downloads and we're not allowed to download on the users' behalf and then share on an FTP site.  We are still looking into this issue.  Alternatively, is Telefonica UK an actively supported Micro Focus Customer? If so we might be able to get support help for a work around, otherwise we have to wait for the development team to fix the bug.  We may have follow up questions here for you soon, thanks for your patience.
