How do Micro Focus employees get to Marketplace admin tools?

If you are a Micro Focus employee, you can access Marketplace admin tools and procedures.  To become a Marketplace admin, complete these 3 steps:

  1. First, you need to create an external NAM account with your .com email address, or use your employee account to login to Marketplace
  2. Next you need to become a developer before you can be promoted to admin, navigate to the Marketplace "For developers" page which is available in the header.  Submit your application to become a developer, don't worry about tagging Micro Focus as your company yet.
  3. Request from an existing Marketplace admin to promote your account to admin in the manage roles section

Once you become a marketplace admin, you can login to the Marketplace community page and then you will see the Marketplace Admin Help & Procedures.

In this section there is information how to:

  1. Become a Marketplace admin
  2. Rename apps
  3. Check what apps a user can download based on their entitlements
  4. Changing the author/company of an app

And much more.  If you recently joined or if this is your first time logging into Community, it may take 1-5 business days for your account to be recognized as an employee account. Contact K. Groneman if you still do not have access after 5 business days.
