There are several methods to get the information. Here are some of them.

In the JMX Console, invoke the countCIsPerType method. It returns the amount of CIs and relationships per CI/Relationship type. The managed_objec and managed_relationship lines give the total number of CIs and relationships respectively.

In the Local Client or CMS UI (from version 2022.11), the number of CIs and relationships is present in the CI Type hierarchy of the CI Type Manager module.

Create a report based on the root CI/relationship type with a count function.
