Hello Trina,
what Soalris version do you have? Is it Solaris 14?

By the way we figured out this issue. In the agentshell.sh script remove the "-v" in the following line:
pkgadd -v -a $AGENT_TEMP_DIR/$SOLARIS_ADMIN_FILE -d $ARG_PACKAGEFILE ud-agent
so should be this:
pkgadd -a $AGENT_TEMP_DIR/$SOLARIS_ADMIN_FILE -d $ARG_PACKAGEFILE ud-agent
When we ran the update UD agents on Solaris it actually removed the agent without reinstalling. We were successful in installing the package with aforementioned script change.
