Integration - Import from Oracle DB

Dear,

What is needed to create a working Import from Oracle DB integration?

If I have a table in some database "SOURCE_DB" what needs to exist in UCMDB to be able to read the data from that table?

CI wise

By default our DBs are discovered through the job "Host Applications and Resources by Shell", meaning I see the Oracle instance "SOURCE_DB" in IT Universe.

But I figure that is not enough?

Credentials

I added a credential config in the Data Flow Probe Setup with username/password for that specific Oracle DB "SOURCE_DB".

But I'm missing the big picture and documentation is so high-level

- When I create an Integration Point for an Oracle import I can't "Test connection" (it's greyed out).

- Are more specific discoveries required to detect details about the "SOURCE_DB"?

- Any help, hints, ... are welcome.

Regards,

Dominik
