An issue is being encountered with using a single Approval Task that is part of an Article model associated to an Article. When the Article is put into Review phase, multiple email notifications are sent to the approver (or approver group) associated to the approval task.

Situation

When using a single Approval Task that is part of an Article model associated to an Article, unexpected behavior occurs. When the Article is put into Review phase, multiple email notifications are sent to the approver (or approver group) associated to the approval task. The first emails arrive right away, while the other emails arrive approximately 10 minutes later and more may arrive after that.
