SCCM integration is available on UCMDB. With SCCM integration, devices coming from UCMDB automatically create device records in smax. I don't want to limit smax recording of data from other discoveries. Only update the device information of the devices coming from SCCM in SMAX, but do not add new devices. How can I perform this operation?

From a UCMDB side there is still Enrichment Rules you can use to help reduce what is federated to SMAX. If you set the sd_type field to not-applicable those CI’s wont be brought over to SMAX.
The key for what you would need to consider is shown here in the table:
You'd need to consider what CIs are being discovered in UCMDB via SCCM and any other discovery mechanism and workout the best way to update the sd_type so only the relevant CIs will show up in SMAX.
