Expected Release Date of SBM v12.3?

Do you know the expected release date of SBM v12.3 yet?

I would like to know in order to plan for my upcoming Sprints, thanks!

    Hi Thu,

The short answer is that SBM 12.3 was re-numbered and released as SBM 12.2 Patch 1. The long answer is this. The team was trying to add editable state forms in SBM, which is why it was going to be called SBM 12.3, but that proved to be harder than expected. We needed to get the release out for other defects and security improvements, so the editable state forms were pulled out and we released the rest of the changes as SBM 12.2 Patch 1. Anything you were expecting to be in 12.3 (other than editable state forms) should be included. I haven't heard of anything else being pulled out.

You can get this patch from the SBM 12.2 download page today. (It was released a couple weeks ago.)  You can read more about the SBM 12.2 Patch 1 release here: Enhancements - Solutions Business Manager

As a side note, due to the numbering rules at OpenText, we had to call this a "patch", but it is a full installer and should be treated just as you would treat any minor release of SBM (e.g. install it on a test server first, test critical scripts and integrations, user testing etc, just as you would any other smaller release.)

    I hope that helps,

    Vickie

    Vickie,

Thank you so much for your quick response and instructions! I'm totally fine with SBM v12.2 Patch 1 installation for our next SBM upgrade as we currently have v12.1.

    Vickie,

When approximately do you plan to release the Editable State Form functionality, please?
We plan to use it with customers and we know they will appreciate it very much.

    Thank you

Hi Lucie, as you can imagine, the product manager now needs to adjust the SBM roadmap and decide a new plan. I haven't heard a new version/date for editable state forms yet. We have to wait until the planning is done before we will know more.
