No topology for Dynamic Docker SiS Monitor for Kubernetes/Prometheus in OBM

No topology for Dynamic Docker Monitor for Kubernetes/Prometheus.

After creating new topology integration between SiS 2020.05 and OBM 2020.10 a Dynamic Docker Monitor for Kubernetes/Prometheus is created but no topology for this monitor is populated in OBM. The problem seemed to be the fact that the SiS did not have the discovery script for Docker. The error in the SiS logs noticed was:

ERROR - failed to run main topology agent. topologyCommand=TopologyCommand{commandType=RUN_SCRIPT, destinationData=<destination><destinationData name="container" /><destinationData

Line 4442: java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: cannot find script with name=docker_topology.py

Solution

Use the latest SiteScope integration package available (in this case for SiteScope 2020.10 version). Remove the old one from package manager and deploy the new one in RTSM.

Follow the integration guide (Configure the topology integration section):

https://docs.microfocus.com/OMi/2020.10/OBM_Integrations_Guide/Content/Integrations.htm
After that stop the SiteScope service and remove the Sitescope\cache and Sitescope\discovery\scripts folders in order to download the new scripts and start the SiteScope service. Once the new scripts were downloaded topology started working.
