Forwarding Events queued for delivery

Summary

OBM 2020.05 in UK region. The goal is to forward events from UK region to OBM 2018.05 in Scandi region where the events are forwarded to the ticketing tool. It was established connection and trust certificates successfully between both the setups. Firewall and ports are opened between both the regions.

When tried creating test events from UK to Scandi the Firewall team confirms that the events transaction from UK to Scandi have not reached the source firewall itself. In event forwarding status it shows "Queued for Delivery".

Solution

bbcutil -ping from the sending OBMs was showing that is falling using https while it succeeds using http. Later it was found that this is firewall issue and the sending OBMs is not allowing HTTPS connection to the target OBM but only HTTP. That was fixed and the communication worked.
