Sys_FileSystemUtilizationMonitor and duplication of events and notifications

Good day,

Policy Sys_FileSystemUtilizationMonitor executes approximately every 5 minutes, if a critical condition occurs and remains then the policy continues to produce events that are depuplicated and the duplicate counter increments. We also have a notification rule that then sends an email. What is the most efficient method to prevent resend of these emails? I only want one email to be sent when the condition first occurs.

If there is no efficient means, then is it possible to change the policy to create only one event?
