We have OMT 23.4 installed with a 3-node Vertica 12.x cluster. Both are running on Linux 8.10 hosts. TLS is enabled and we can get the primary Vertica node working with TLS. The TLS certificates are client generated so we understand that the trust chain must be established in the local trust stores. We have not been able to determine why the other two nodes won't connect during the OpsB install. We have tried a single TLS certificate with the CN equal to the primary node and also with the CN being something generic. We also tried creating separate TLS certs for each Vertica node. Nothing is working for the other two nodes. Keep getting connection failed error. We tried dbinit using the single and the three node certificates. Ditto for the private keys. I suspect the certificates are not being added to the last two nodes certificate stores.

The document is good, but we tried what was recommended and it does not work. I may be missing something. 

I would appreciate any ideas or guidance on how to get a 3-node Vertica cluster connecting via TLS.
