When upgrade OPTIC DL Vertica Plugin, if cleaned up Vertica server and did not cleaned up /usr/local/itom-di-pulsarudx folder, then it would be failed.

Situation

 

 When upgrade OPTIC DL Vertica Plugin, if have cleaned up the Vertica server before the upgrade and some residual files may have remained, then it will be failed with error:

fatal dbinit: ROLLBACK 5365: [42704] User available location ["/home/dbadmin/.itomdipulsarudx"] does not exist on node ["v_itomdb_node0001"]

where, /home/dbadmin/ is the <path to Vertica admin home>.
