This article gives the details of the way to fix the issue: The NA scheduled report "All devices changed in the last 24 hours" shows some devices with unchanged configurations.
Network Automation (NA) all versions
The user schedules an email report "All devices changed in the last 24 hours" to check the list of all devices that have configuration changes in the last 24 hours in NA.
However, there are some devices with unchanged configurations listed in the report "All devices changed in the last 24 hours" sent by NA via email. In the Comments column of this report, it shows the word "checkpoint".
The option “Make Snapshot a Checkpoint” is enabled when running the Take Snapshot for devices and it's also enabled for the scheduled Take Snapshot tasks.
If the user selects the “Make Snapshot a Checkpoint” option, the NA database is updated even if NA does not detect a difference. As a result, the snapshot still appears as a configuration change on the Home page, NA reports, Configuration Change search results, and so on.
If the user does not want the NA report "All devices changed in the last 24 hours" to show the devices with unchanged configurations, the user should disable the option “Make Snapshot a Checkpoint” when running the Take Snapshot task for devices. In addition, the user should also disable this option for the scheduled Take Snapshot tasks.
