Hi, unfortunatly, IP address are not forwarded to OPTIC. only metrics are forwarded but I agree inventory data should be in Vertica bc it could be used in reports.

My work around is : extract IP address from NNMI DB and push to Vertica with ODI.

Yes, I thought of same workaround but not sure how to push these data to Vertica without external plugins.

I'm guessing there will be some way to push these data likewise metrics / performance data.

Any suggestion?

What do you mean with External Plugins ? 

To push data into VERTICA qui should use Optic Data Ingestion.  use a script to export data from NNM DB then you can push data to optic  through this documentation : https://docs.microfocus.com/doc/Containerized_Operations_Bridge/24.3/OpenDataIngestWoEL 

1. Identify the data.
2. Decide the type of ingestion and processing (aggregate, forecast) requirements.
3. Define the raw and summary datasets.
4. Create datasets and aggregation using OPTIC DL Administration APIs.
5. Create streaming clients to ingest data to OPTIC DL

All can be done by POST request
