FinOps X is the premier in-person FinOps event of the year. It’s hosted by the FinOps Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing the field of FinOps (cloud financial management) through community collaboration and education.
The event takes place in San Diego, California, at the Marriott Marquis San Diego Marina, June 19–22.
With over 2,000 attendees and 220 speakers (across seven stages) representing the foremost cloud providers, leading innovators, and some of the largest companies in the world, FinOps X is a great opportunity to learn from technology leaders, get answers to your cloud questions, and network and socialize with your peers (image: Marriott Marquis San Diego Marina source URL).
OpenText is a sponsor of the FinOps X conference
We are sponsoring the FinOps X conference (and are a general partner member of the FinOps Foundation) in light of a growing need for effective cloud financial management. With OpenText FinOps solution we have positioned ourselves at the forefront of FinOps innovation and education. We actively engage with the FinOps community by participating in diverse working groups and cross-educational activities. Our goal is to help companies tame their cloud costs—by identifying and eliminating sources of cloud waste and finding ways to derive more value from the cloud.
A sneak peek at the OpenText booth
Our booth will feature demos, materials, and conversations highlighting our coverage of the three FinOps phases: Inform, Optimize, and Operate. With OpenText FinOps, it is easy to drive ownership and accountability via role-enabled showback reports, and gather advanced insights (e.g., cost allocation, unit economics, ESR). You can also surpass the effectiveness of vendor provided recommendations for reserved instances and savings plans, using our "smart what-if analyses". And you can engage engineers through workflows for validating and implementing rightsizing recommendations.
Finally, we are excited to share our approach to GreenOps (IT sustainability) and how it ties into our FinOps framework. We aim to provide a unified view and analysis across IT costs and carbon.
