AutoPass v23.4 will not let me create additional user accounts

I am using Autopass v23.4 Build 20230915105859

In the previous version I had created an additional account to manage the licenses using my email address.  I want to be able to create 2 additional accounts that will be used by the Production SBM server and the DEV SBM server to issue licenses to those systems but Autopass will not let me create any new accounts now.  It keeps telling me "devlicense@abshelp.com email already exists" in red popup even though that email does not exist ANYWHERE in the system.  This has to be a bug.  Is there a work around?

Hey Terry, did you "upgrade" an existing AutoPass installation, or did you make a new install? If it was an "upgrade", it should remember the users you already setup. In that situation, the email may already by used (because you set it up previously).  Let us know a little more about the install. Then, we can check with the AutoPass team.

Actually it was an upgrade but for some reason it did not keep any previous information.  I had to re-enter all of the config.  So basically started from scratch and recreated the trichards@mechdyne.com apls login account.  I also had to reinstall all license blocks and named license users.  I was not happy.

And the two new accounts that I am trying to create PRODLicense@abshelp.com and DEVLicense@abshelp.com do not exist anywhere, not even as SBM users with named licenses so I dont understand why it is telling me the email already exists.

"devlicense@abshelp.com email already exists" suggests that it APLS remembered something.

So I take it that you actually upgraded the APLS software on that machine? Had you placed your APLS database into a SQL server database or are you still using the default database?

Still using the default database but as I keep saying the new email addresses I am trying have NEVER been used before anywhere in SBM ever.  So it is not "remembering" something that was there in the past.

I see you have a case for this now. We will provide the details to the Autopass team to determine the issue.
