Unable to manage Node with ESX Monitoring

Hi community,

I'm facing an issue with my NNMi and VM Monotoring.

I configured my NNMi to monitor ESX by importing Certificat and provide user/pwd. Now all VMs running on my ESXs are automatically discovered and created in NNMi Inventory as VMWare Device profile.

In some case, I need to monitor VM with SNMP, so I added it by  seedfile.

a new device are created and monitored by NNMi through SNMP.

But I can't correctly  managed thoses nodes through NNM CLI command like nnmloadattributes.ovpl.

In this case, if I need to add CMA to SNMP Device, the command always add attributes to the node with  VMWare Device profile instead of the SNMP Node.

how can I  manage device which are declare by seed and also discovered by VMWare ESX Monitoring?

regards

    Hi  ,

You're right, that exactly my issue. I have 2 nodes with same IP & Nodename but UUID is different.

I can modify easily CMA from UI but I can't with the nnmloadattributes command.

the commande use IP or Node Name as key to identify the node. i tried with the UUID but it's not working.
