Situation

The user would like to show the Sitescope Node Group on OPTIC DL reports. They have  already configured to enable business service and node group-based System Infrastructure reports for the topology-centric report use cases with the steps in the below document.

However, they're unable to see the Sitescope Node Group in Reports as expected.

Cause

If the user wants to filter nodes among agentless nodes in the report, the only available workaround is to create Node Groups in OBM. This method is supported and working, and the Node Groups created in OBM will appear in the report’s parameters.

No changes are required in the reports for this approach.

If the requirement is to filter using Sitescope groups created within Sitescope, this would be considered a customization request

To do that, the user needs to transform nodes (relatedCIs) within Sitescope Groups in RTSM as a Node Group. However, this requires creating an Enrichment Rule. This rule would take the Sitescope group, its monitors, and the monitored CI (node) to create a CI Collection (Node Group) with the necessary link to the node.
