Service Desk 7.4 https setup

Hi!
How do I configure https for service desk 7.4? The documentation only writes about 7.3 and is very short on the subject.
Im using the appliance

Hi Madeleine,

The title of this page is indeed a bit confusing, the appliance however didn't change and the page is applicable for version 7.4 as well. If you follow the steps it should allow you to get SSL working on 7.4 as well.

I'll send a note to the documentation team to get the version number removed from the page.

Should be as easy copy over files and ensuring the server.xml is proper on the new Appliance and restarting livetime service I think.

If Madeline or Ron see's this, can you share what your server.xml file shows (-minus the keystore password of course)or the process used to enable HTTPS on the 7.4 appliance?
I've tried 2 times and even had two Novell techs assist but it still isn't working.

There is more text in the <connector> section in the 7.4 server.xml file than what is shown in the documentation shows.

in section 1e, the last line is " The certs need to be signed by a CA to add into the trusted store" and then nothing else on how that is done.
Did you have to get the certificates signed by a CA?
