Missing configuration items in appliance configuration

At our site, we upgraded from NSD 7.4 to 7.5, then upgraded from 7.5 to 8.1. After completing the final upgrade to 8.1, we noticed that we were missing some configuration items from the appliance configuration homepage. The appliance configuration page was intact after the upgrade from 7.4 to 7.5.

This has made our lives difficult because there is no digital certificates tool and is forcing me to work around the issue by replacing the default keystore with one of our own using the cli. Besides that, there are of course other items missing which should be there and this could possibly impact our management of this appliance.

Please see attached for the screenshot of our appliance configuration page.

Really stumped on this, anybody have any ideas about this one?

    Jonny,

It's good practice to not log in as root.
The Appliance security has been tightened as they standardized on the Common Appliance Framework.

Logging in as sdadmin will limit (& secure) some of the unnecessary tiles configuring the Server itself.
tiles.  (Network, Time, Digital Certificates, Storage, Firewall)

Log in as root and you these OS config tiles will appear.
