Thought I would post this here in hopes that it gets to the correct person at OpenText.
ZPM sends out daily subscription expiration notifications which is a good thing. Unfortunately, someone at OpenText changed how the SLD works. It used to be that as soon as you renewed your subscription, the end date would be updated and everything was good - the notifications would stop because ZPM saw the new end date. Now I am told that even though I have renewed my subscription (this has been confirmed), SLD does not update the new end date until the current subscription expires. This means that I will receive an email notification each day counting down the days until my subscription expires. And then if everything is working correctly, the new end date will appear in SLD, and ZPM will see it, and everything will be good. Sorry, but I don't have that much faith in the system working correctly. This is a horrible design decision. If something goes wrong, I have to immediately scramble to get the right people to fix the problem. If SLD would update the new end date like it used to do, everything could update before the actual end date and there would be no need for last minute fixes.
Hopefully this gets a response from someone at OpenText. If not, I will try another route, but at least everyone will be aware of how this works now.
