About zen 2020 update 3

There is a warning in Update 3: "Upon updating the Primary and Satellite Servers to ZENworks 2020 Update 3a, all managed devices with ZENworks 2017 Update 1 or older agents will cease to communicate with servers. It is strongly recommended to update such agents to ZENworks 2020 Update 2 before initiating server upgrade. For information, see ZENworks Best Practices Guide."
But in the video posted today there is an image showing that you can update agents 11.4 to 20.2 straight to 20.3. Would this update for 11.4-17.1 agents be done offline?

Hi, that is a good catch. The warning mentioned in Update 3 is accurate. Our earlier plan was to support the direct update, but we then we hit an security issue which forced us to change path. However, the video was created earlier and hence carried the earlier information.

We would recommend to update your older agents to the latest possible version before updating your zone to Update 3.

Is this something related to the tls version? We update the tls (windows registry change) when we register the devices with agent 11.4 up to 17.1 in Zen 2020 Update 2 zone.
Will we have this problem in the same way?
