Recent patches showing NOT_APPLICABLE

Hi all,

right now I'm a bit nervous about patches not showing up in ZCC:

I expect to see some devices requiring Mozilla Firefox 86.0, but no one seems to have a need for it... (but Defender Security tells me there are some).

After waiting a few days now I realized there's another one not showing up:

Google Chrome 88.0.4324.190 (recommended).

This one should be available for nearly every device, so I had a look into the latest .state-file and found "...Google Chrome 88.0.4324.182 for Windows (See Notes)=DETECT_PATCHED Google Chrome 88.0.4324.190 for Windows (See Notes)=NOT_APPLICABLE"

Any ideas?

Hi,
I'm a bit nervous too because I have the same issue.
Google Chrome 88.0.4324.190 and Firefox 86.0 are supposed to be detected as Not Patched but no devices seems to be scanned for these patches.
Also, no "Full Install" sofwares are installing.

Perhaps best to open a Ticket, since a couple of folks are seeing a similar issue....

Hi Craig,
unfortunately we are still affected by portal migration...
There's still no way to create a new SR (I can see my old SRs, even the last one from December).

Key parts are....

Rename registry value HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Patchlink.com\cache\SYSTEM_HASH entry to bypass cache and rescan fully.

Run lm.detection_x64 /r /l 4 /d 0 /e "tmpScan" and collect lm.detection.log
In addition to above sometimes it helps to run analyze -d and collect analyze_results.txt and debug*.log.

Also collect \windows\logs\cbs and \windows\logs\dism *.log files for Microsoft Windows patch scan information.

Same exact issue here. Joined the club and opened an SR on it.
Looking in the ZPM folder on my workstation, I see 4 OSPX files (win10x64.ospx, winapplications.ospx, windependencies.ospx, winsecuritydefinitions.ospx) - all dated 2/24/21.
Went ahead and imaged a new workstation and none of these files are even present. Also, the .state file on both are showing NOT_APPLICABLE for Chrome/Firefox/Acrobat, pretty much everything. The latest DAU is installed on both.
Guess just have to see what the SR comes back with.

Our 3rd Party Content Provider appears to be having technical difficulties with their content hosting system.

This is most likely to root cause of these issues. I will try to post back here when they are resolved. I ran a few tests and the issue still seems to exist at this moment.

The ZPM Project Manager did personally call our Content Provider yesterday to inform them of the criticality to get the issue resolved.
