Support Ending for Legacy Patch Management

We know how important software patching is to the security of an organization. That’s why we’re reminding you of the recent changes to ZENworks Patch Management that require your attention to avoid service disruption.

Here are the five things you need to know:

1. The Legacy Patch Management solution is being replaced by our new, enhanced Next-Gen Patch Management solution. The new patching solution is only included in ZENworks 2020 Update 3.
2. The new solution must be used with any patch subscription (new or renewal) purchased after May 31, 2023. This means that you must be upgraded to ZENworks 2020 Update 3 and using the new Next-Gen Patch Management solution the first time you renew after May 31, 2023.
3. The Legacy Patch Management solution will be retired on May 31, 2024. Even if your first renewal does not occur until after May 31, 2024, you must be using the new patch solution by that date to continue receiving new patches.
4. The benefits outweigh the effort required to upgrade and migrate! The new patching solution features improved performance, advanced patch delivery, an enhanced catalog, and more.
5. We’re here to help you upgrade to ZENworks 2020 Update 3 and migrate to the Next-Gen Patch Management solution.
