24.2 Remote Control problems when screen locked (W11)

Hi.

I see a problem remote controlling devices when a user is logged in and has his screen locked. Not always, but maybe 50% of the time:

I start a RC session, and as result get a black screen with a cursor I can move around. No amount of hitting e.g Ctrl-Alt-Del or any other action results in what I *should* see, which is the login screen of the already logged in user.

I have ro quit the RC session, and start it again, in 90% of all cases, the second attempt works, and I get the Windows 11 login window showing the logged-in username and asking for the password.

Anybody else?

    Hi Craig.

From the symptoms I see, that sounds like a distinct possibility. That would explain why it doesn't always happen, and why it works on the 2nd attempt (because of course me moving the mouse around must have woken up the screen). In that case, it seems the RC code can't really deal with the monitor coming on while the RC session is already running.

I'll try to dupe it with someone being in front of the machine tellng me what he sees.
