ZCM 24.2 Agent Update Behavior

I'm moving from ZCM 23.3 to 24.2 (via 23.4).

Do I need to wait until 23.4 baselines on all of my managed devices before I can deploy 24.2 for any reason?

Can I just deploy 24.2 without updating any agents? If I do, is the 24.2 agent cumulative, or will it chain multiple update/reboots for my clients?

You can deploy zcm24.2 directly (take Long time, please wait for the end) and After this you can actualize the agents!

I concur. It is possible to upgrade the Managed Devices and Satellites directly from ZCM 17.2 or later to ZCM 24.2.

The updates are cumulative.

Note: It may be possible to upgrade from even older versions, but testing is recommended as that is no longer tested and in the past I saw issues around ZESM drivers not upgrading properly though there were work-arounds for that which can be addressed in other threads if there are forum readers who ever need to do that in the future....though the existence of zones still that old are getting more rare all the time.
