Knowledge Document: ZENworks 23.4 System Update fails during Prepare stage due to ZeUS error : HttpMediaTypeNotSupportedException

During ZENworks upgrade from 20.3 to 23.4, ZeUs fails to be upgraded, the spring-core and other spring-related jars will stay on the older version and not be upgraded to the latest expected version 5.3.23, causing the preparation stage to fail.

Environment

ZENworks 23.4 ( Windows or Linux ) 

Situation

During the preparation stage failed for the ZENworks 23.4 system update, the zeus-messages.log on the Primary throws the below error

[ZeusServicesApplication] [] [Message: Content type 'application/xml;charset=UTF-8' not supported] [] [] [] 
 [ZeusServicesApplication] [] [Exception Type: class org.springframework.web.HttpMediaTypeNotSupportedException]
