Problem with IE9 Template

I built a virtualized IE9 using the ZAV Studio template. However, when I test it on our environment, I get the following error when launching the virtual app:

"A program on your computer has corrupted your default search provider setting for Internet Explorer. Internet Explorer has reset this setting to your original search provider, Bing (www.bing.com). Internet Explorer will not open Search Settings, where you can change this setting or install more search providers."

I built it on W7 x64 and I'm testing it on W7 x64. The test environment also has IE9 installed, but I was going to add a Java component once this was successful. I've also tested it on an environment with IE11 installed, what happens then is the app opens real fast then flashes and closes.

I've matched up the Search Settings on the virtual app (before building) to match those of the local IE9 installed on the test environment. But that didn't work.

Thanks in advance for any help or insight.

I believe the issue is because my packaging machine and test machine is fully up-to-update with MS updates, and the template is using an older version of IE9. Has anyone had any success using snapshot mode for building virtual IEs? If so, anything specific you must do? I've used snapshot mode for building virtual apps before, but not virtual IEs.
